Peggy Grace Sutton

Peggy Grace Sutton Mother, Mom, Mama, Mommy, Maw-Maw 09/13/1949 - 03/20/2024 Well, our Mom finally got her “Whiskey Wings” and decided she needed to have a drink with Jesus.

We’re pretty sure she’s up there just a jitterbuggin’ with all her dance partners or throwing down on a mean game of “42” with her siblings that greeted her at the Pearly Gate’s!

Even though we’re not in her physical presence, we know she is up there watching out for all 4 of us girls and our families. We definitely know that while gigglin, she is whispering in our spouse’s ears “y’all had a choice in picking one of my girls.” We know she never wanted to leave her family and friends behind. That’s why she always said, “See Ya Later!”

Peggy’s Daughters: Sherrie Koch (Larry) of Somerville, Texas; Carolyn Spittler (Nelton) of Ingram, Texas; Misti Sutton (Shannon) of Franklin, Texas; Lona Hightower-Burns (Boderick “Bo” Burns) of Ingram, Texas.

Stepchildren: Tony Sutton of Ingram, Texas; Lisa Humphries (Kenny) of Ingram, Texas; All of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren are being watched by Peggy’s 3rd eye lol (you know the one all Moms have in the back of her head).

Joking aside we know she has them big, huge angel wings wrapped around all of them.

Grandchildren: Anthony Harwell; Dustin Harwell; Ginger Buckley (William); Nathan Spittler; Jacob Tieman (Laura); William Spittler (Sharon); Nicholas Spittler (Destiny); Alexander Nitsche (Kaitlyn); Morgan Nitsche; Kye Hightower-Douglas; Elye Hightower-Kelly; Zayne Hightower- Kelly; Great Grandchildren: Bailey Harwell; Damion Harwell; Damien Buckley; Jarrod Tieman; Marshall Tieman; Violet Tieman.

Peggy also leaves behind brother, James Neely Sr. (Joann); and very patiently waiting for one more dance her best friend and dance partner of 40-plus years, Lyle “Les” Lester; along with numerous adopted families.

So, for now till we see you again every time we hear your favorite songs “Got My Whiskey” (Mel Waiters), “Bad” (Micheal Jackson), “5150 Somebody Call the Popo” (Dierks Bentley) or “Feeling Mighty Fine” (Statler Brothers), we will know you are just a whisper away.

One thing for sure, when we hear our lullaby “House of the Rising Sun” (The Animals), us girls will know that you are walking beside each of us, and of course we will be sure to call one another to let the others know you stopped by. Peggy, we love and miss you so much; remember it’s not good-bye… See ya later!!

Peggy’s family invites you to join them for a DASH party and celebration of her life at Half Moon Saloon in Somerville on June 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
