William Glenn “Cowboy” Cunningham, 72, of Somerville, passed away July 5, 2024. He passed after a tough rodeo ride with cancer, with his loving and supportive wife at his side.
A Celebration of Cowwidowed boy’s life was held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Strickland Funeral Home Caldwell.
The burial followed in Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville.
Glenn was preceded in death and embraced by his two sons, Rodney and Shawn Cunningham; his father, Billie Cunningham; and a brother, Larry Cunningham.
Glenn is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Mary Cunningham; his daughter, Brandie Vollentine and her husband, Brandon; daughter-in-law, April Cunningham; five grandkids that he loved to brag about, Nathan Cunningham and his wife, Hailey, Kyle Cunningham, Travis Cunningham, Hayden Vollentine and Emory Vollentine. He is also survived by his mother, Henrietta Cunningham; sister, Brenda Knesek and husband, David; sister, Janice Norman and husband, Dick; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Somerville Area Assistance Ministry (SAAM).
