Burleson County Little League All-Star Tournament play for Texas East District 13 has begun for some of the area athletes.
In softball, the 8U Coach Pitch team began pool play on June 6 in Burton against Bellville.
Both teams were placed in Pool A with Twin Cities.
Burleson County fell in a heartbreaker to Bellville 10-9, and then rebounded on June 7 to edge out Twin Cities 6-5.
