Somerville athlete to compete in triple jump
Somerville’s Brandyn Carter placed second in the triple jump at the UIL Class 2A Region 4 Track & Field Meet held at Javelina Stadium on the campus of Texas A&M - Kingsville last weekend.
Carter won the silver medal with a leap of 43 feet 7 inches.
Noah Watson of Deweyville won this event with a distance of 44 feet 2.5 inches.
