DAIMEYN ELLIS-Edison qualified for the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) 2024 Summer Games of Texas in Brownsville. She finished fifth in the 16U 100-meter run and was a part of the girls 4x100-meter relay, placing second, at the Region 5 and 11 TAAF Regional Meet at the Hart-Patterson Track and Field Complex at Baylor. She runs for the Blues Track Club of Bryan/College Station.
