    The Caldwell Hornets ended their season with a 96-67 bi-district loss to Wheatley on Tuesday, Feb. 20, in Bryan, ending a memorable run for a winning season and a second-place tie in district play.Caldwell kept it close in the first quarter, playing fundamentally sound as Head Coach Rene Cantu had stressed, but Wheatley’s zone press in the second quarter gave the Hornets problems.
