The Running Yeguas ran at the Gatesville Bill Bradley Invitational last Saturday.
Senior Ra’Maya Carter was the Somerville girls’ fastest runner in the varsity girls two-mile run with a time of 15:17.4, finishing 26th.
Carter’s teammate Destiny Vela was only .4 of a second back, finishing 27th with a time of 15:17.8.
Vania Martinez of host school Gatesville won the race with a time of 12:09.5.
