The Somerville Yeguas got off to a fast start with a 49-28 win over Flatonia in game one of the Fayetteville Tournament last weekend and rallied in the fourth quarter for a 60-48 win over state-ranked Thorndale.
However, the Yeguas stumbled in the final two games in a 71-49 loss to tournament champion Fayetteville and a 52-42 loss to Brazos Christian to finish the tournament at 2-2.
