Burleson County sheriffs’ deputies are investigating a fraud case in which a woman stole over $12,000 from a local man she met on social media.
The man said he met the woman on Facebook Messenger and gave her money through a series of Apple gift card purchases, and she later stole $4,500 from his bank account after he gave her his account number, said Burleson County Sheriff Bill Rios.
