Shifting winds made firefighting more difficult
A grass fire burned 37 acres of pasture and wooded acreage and two buildings on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 13, off County Road 331, but the cause remains unknown.
No foul play is suspected, and there was no burning on site, said Caldwell Volunteer Fire Department Chief Harry Bowers.
Burleson County remains under an outdoor burning ban due to dry conditions.
