A man living on Pin Oak Lane in Beaver Creek Subdivision recently tried to buy a Great Dane dog online but was scammed out of $250.
Burleson County Sheriff Bill Rios said the purchase appeared legitimate, although one name provided was misspelled.
The man was scammed out of $250 but never got the dog, Rios said.
Rios said the case was reported on Sunday, April 19.
The case remains under investigation …
