THIS 2007 CHEVROLET Cobalt car erupted in flames at 5:19 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, at the Zip In parking lot off State Highway 21. Caldwell Fire Chief Harry Bowers said the blaze started in the engine compartment and spread to the dash board area before it was extinguished by Caldwell firefighters. The driver, Malonni Pulido of LaPorte got out of the car and was not injured, he said.
