Bridge work done on CR 146, old trusses remain

Not yet ready for travel on either side

    The historic original trusses on the old iron bridge on County Road 146 were preserved and installed last week on the newly constructed bridge.The trusses, considered historical remnants, were set on the new bridge on Wednesday, July 2, and they were welded onto it on Thursday, July 3.Although the new bridge is now complete, it is not yet ready for travel, according to Bob Colwell...
