The Caldwell City Council has approved a one-year agreement with Constellation Energy of Houston as its wholesale electric provider as it continues plans for a new electric substation and conversion to the ERCOT power grid.
The council unanimously agreed to the deal at a special Thursday, Feb. 27, meeting following an executive session.
