The Caldwell ISD school board approved the purchase of 88 new teacher laptops, with a total cost of $61,345, at its Monday, Oct. 27 meeting.
The school board also heard from retired teacher, former school board member and current substitute teacher Terry Jurena regarding her concerns about teacher workload and class sizes at Caldwell Elementary School.
