Burleson County Commissioners have approved a 46-cent tax rate and a $16.5 million budget for 2024-25.
The commissioners approved the tax rate and budget at their Monday, Sept. 9, meeting following public hearings with no comments offered.
The tax rate is down from the 48 cents approved last year, but it allows more revenue due mostly to higher mineral valuations.
