CVFD responds to postal van blaze on F.M. 3058

    Caldwell volunteer firefighters responded on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 31, 2025, to a U.S. Postal Service van on fire on F.M. 3058 and extinguished it by using foam under it.The fire was likely due to a mechanical issue in the engine compartment, said Caldwell Fire Chief Harry Bowers.Bowers said the driver was uninjured, and the last batch of mail was delivered about five minutes ...
