Wilhelm says cause remains unknown
A fire caused extensive damage to the back storage room portion of the Dollar General Store on Friday evening, Sept. 6, in Somerville, and the cause remains unknown.
Employees and customers at the store at the intersection of Ninth Street and State Highway 36 South got out safely, and there were no injuries, said Somerville Fire Chief Wayne Wilhelm.
