Red Cross assisting Cooks Point family
A fire, probably caused by a short in an electric heater in the kitchen, destroyed a Cooks Point family’s home early Tuesday, Nov. 19, on County Road 229.
Three family members inside got out safely with no injuries, but the building and contents were a total loss, said Caldwell Fire Chief David Pevehouse.
