Somerville firefighters quickly controlled a grass fire on Sunday afternoon, May 4, at Lakeview North Estates off Park Road 4, containing it to about half an acre with no structural damage.
The accidental fire started as a controlled brush burn at 1940 Lakeview Drive and spread into some nearby tall grass, said Somerville Fire Chief Wayne Wilhelm.
