The Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) did not issue any new oil well drilling permits in Burleson County in May.
The RRC report is for newly approved permits in the county, not for drill sites which were previously permitted.
Production in the county in April included 665,196 barrels of oil, 632,041 Mcf of casing head gas, 41,699 Mcf of gas well gas and 4,035 barrels of condensate.
