A Somerville area woman jailed in Burleson County and taken to a Caldwell hospital for medical treatment briefly escaped and was recaptured.
Tammy Freeman, 52, of of Park Road 57, was charged with felony escape and was already in custody on a Kinney County warrant for two counts of failure to appear on a smuggling of persons charge, according to Burleson County Chief Deputy Bill Rios.
