Somerville, Snook and Birch Creek firefighters responded on Tuesday, April 2, to a large wood chips fire at the Somerville Koppers plant off County Road 423.
The fire on the south end of the Koppers yard was contained to the pile, did not spread to any surrounding buildings or cause any other damage and there were no injuries, said Somerville Fire Chief Wayne Wilhelm.
The cause of the fire is unknow…
