SOMERVILLE SUPERINTENDENT Eric Holton, Steven Toliver, Amber Idlebird, Rebecca Coronado, Doree Holton and Georgia Thormer recently assisted in a presentation, sharing their experiences in the partnership with Texas Strategic Leadership and the Region 6 Service Center at the Texas Strategic Leadership Conference.

WORK CONTINUES ON F.M. 975 in Caldwell. Texas Materials Group is working on this TxDOT project to rehabilitate the road, redo the curb and gutter and upgrade drainage. Work is being done from State Highway 21 West to the railroad overpass. Completion is set for the spring of 2026.

A RIBBON CUTTING IS held for The Reserve Subdivision in Somerville off Thornberry Drive on Wednesday, July 2. One home is completed, and another is under construction. Developers are planning a total of 145 homes in three to five years. They are beginning with the first of three planned phases, and city-required infrastructure for phase one is now complete.
