Woman attacked by dog at Beaver Creek

A 21-year-old Beaver Creek woman was injured on Sunday night, July 6, in a dog bite attack at Beaver Creek Subdivision and flown by helicopter to a Bryan hospital.The woman was injured at about 8:08 p.m.

Construction continues for C-LARS in Snook

C-LARS, LLC, a manufacturer of marine launch and recovery systems, is continuing construction of its new location in Snook, giving the growing community a new, major company and significant job growth.

Grand Jury returns 6 felony indictments

The Burleson County Grand Jury met in regular session on Thursday, June 12, and returned six felony indictments.Only the names of those arrested are released and include: * Haley Carlisle Hanson, 39, of Bryan; injury child/elderly/disable with intent bodily injury -- third degree felony.

Extortion case investigated

A man who recently shared nude photos with a woman through an app became an extortion victim when the woman demanded $600 from him or threatened to post his pictures on social media.
