Commissioners Court OKs mass gathering permit

The Burleson County Commissioner’s Court approved a mass gathering permit application from the Elizabeth Lutheran Church for July 3 at its Tuesday, May 27, meeting.The gathering is the church’s annual July 3rd Celebration, and was approved unanimously without discussion.

AREA VOLUNTEER firefighters responded to this fire late Tuesday morning, May 13, that erupted on Thornberry Drive in Somerville. The driver of a 1-ton pickup was pulling a travel trailer which caught on fire. However, the driver was not injured.
