Dairy producers offset milk prices with higher calf prices

Dairy producers are facing a decline in milk prices but beef prices are up and providing added revenue to help them weather the storm, according to Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service dairy specialists.

Man dies in truck, 18-wheeler wreck

A 73-year-old Caldwell man was killed on Wednesday morning, March 25, in a headon collision on State Highway 36 South near F.M. 976.The name of the driver was still being withheld on Tuesday, March 31, until a next of kin was notified, said DPS Sgt. Justin Ruiz.The accident occurred at 9:34 a.m.
