Supply squeeze drives sheep and goat prices higher

Texas sheep and goat producers are seeing strong prices this spring as seasonal supply patterns tighten markets while demand remains steady, said a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service expert.

White to submit resignation to city

Caldwell City Administrator Camden White was expected to submit his resignation to the city council on Tuesday, March 17, in an executive session. White confirmed before the meeting that he was resigning to take another job opportunity recently offered, but he had no further comment at this time.

Burn Ban Lifted

As of 11:50 a.m. on March 11, the burn ban order for Burleson County has been lifted.Use caution when burning, and notify authorities prior to beginning larger controlled burns for awareness.For more information about the ban being lifted, see story inside.

SNOOK EEA HOSTED its annual Blessing Box Project “Sew-In” on Saturday. The Blessing Box Project makes pillows and drain shirts for those recovering from breast cancer surgery and fills boxes with those pillows and other items to encourage those to keep fighting.
