Kauder counts blessings after hog attack

Burleson County sheriff’s deputies recently arrested a Caldwell man on Magnolia Drive at Cade Lake on a misdemeanor criminal trespass charge and believe they may have prevented a theft in progress.

Stolen pickup found in Hays Co.

A pickup stolen on July 1 in Burleson County was recovered on Friday, July 19, in Hays County.The owner reported the light gray, 2002 Ford F-350 pickup stolen from a home in the 400 block of McLendon Street in the Somerville area, said Burleson County Chief Deputy Bill Rios.
