Woman defrauded out of $29,379

Burleson County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a felony fraud case involving $29,379.32 stolen from an elderly Burleson County woman.

Woman charged in theft at Woodsons

Caldwell police arrested a woman on Tuesday, March 5, on a charge of felony theft with two prior convictions in connection with a stolen drill and six batteries from Woodson Lumber Co., on Feb. 27.

County sales tax revenues show increase in March

Sales tax revenues showed an increase for March 2024 from March 2023 for Burleson County in Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar’s latest monthly report.Also, the cities of Caldwell and Snook showed increases.
