The Caldwell Hornets defeated Lexington 4-2 in a Tuesday, April 12, road game and blanked Florence 10-0 last Friday at home.
The wins boosted Caldwell to 13-10 overall and 7-3 in district play.
Against Lexington, Caldwell took control early with a 3-0 first inning lead before the Eagles added one run each in the third and fifth innings. The Hornets added a seventh inning run for the win,
