Lady Hornets finish 9th at state tourney

    The Caldwell Lady Hornets golf team placed ninth at the state golf tournament on May 16-17 at the Jimmy Clay Golf Course in Austin.

    It was the conclusion of another successful year for the traditionrich Lady Hornets, who defeated Cameron this year to win the district championship and then shot their two best rounds of the season to place second behind McGregor at the regional tournament.
