YOUTH FROM ACROSS the state came to Burleson County to compete in last week’s Burleson County Saddle Club Youth Rodeo.
Last weekend, the Burleson County Saddle Club (BCSC) hosted its annual youth rodeo at the Buddy and Edile Lightsey Arena at the Burleson County Fairgrounds.
Young cowboys and cowgirls roped and rode to try to earn the buckles and saddle prizes.
Winners in the event categories included:
* Chute dogging: Miles Brooks, junior boys; Nick Achille, senior boys.
