Former Somerville volleyball, basketball standout Ellis to lead her hometown team
Somerville ISD is looking to inspire its volleyball team by bringing in a former player as the new head coach.
Alicia Ellis was recently announced as the Lady Yeguas new head coach, and she looks to give her hometown something to cheer about.
“I’ve returned home,” Ellis said, “and I need to bring back what we had when I was in school.”
