    Snook freshman Ethan Janac has qualified for the UIL State Cross Country Meet.

    To grasp the enormity of this feat, the course is not a level track -- it is paved, grassy, rocky, muddy -- just about every ground surface there is. Also, the boys’ varsity race is a distance of 5,000 meters, or 3 miles and 188 yards.
