The Caldwell Lady Hornet cross country team finished 16th at Monday’s UIL Region III Cross Country Meet at Kate Barr Ross Memorial Park in Huntsville.
Caldwell earned a score of 486 points for its 16th place finish in girls Class 4A.
Salado won the team title with 59 points and qualified for the state meet.
Also advancing to state were teams from Huffman-Hargrave, Hudson and Gilmer.
