The Lady Yeguas opened up the 20222023 basketball season last week with two home losses -- a 36-40 loss to Caldwell last Tuesday (see related story in this issue) and a 26-59 loss to Smithville last Friday.
Against Smithville, senior Ra’Maya Carter led Somerville with 19 points and three rebounds.
Somerville was scheduled to host Allen Academy on Tuesday, Nov. 15.
