The Lady Yeguas fell to Franklin last Wednesday 56-34.
Somerville was led by senior Ra’Maya Carter, scoring 26 points and having five steals.
Destiny Vela also had a solid game with eight points and five rebounds.
The Lady Yeguas were scheduled to host Hearne on Tuesday, Jan. 3, before starting district at home against rival Snook this Friday at 5 p.m.
