The Caldwell High School girls’ and boys’ powerlifting teams have begun their season, competing at the Giddings Invitational on Jan. 7 and the Tiger Invitational at Rockdale on Jan. 14.
At Giddings, the boys’ team finished sixth in the team standings with nine points.
Rosebud-Lott won the team title with 47 points. Elgin was second with 43 points, and La Grange was third with 34.
