WAYLON CHAPMAN and Conner Hughson won the boys’ doubles title at the Groesbeck Tennis Tournament last week. The duo will be in action this Friday at the Caldwell Varsity Tennis Spring Invitational Number 1 at Caldwell High School.
KARLY FRITSCHE and Kylie Vogler won the consolation title in girls’ doubles at the Groesbeck Varsity Tennis Tournament last week.
Last week, the Caldwell High School tennis duo of Conner Hughson and Waylon Chapman easily earned the boys’ doubles title at the Groesbeck Tennis Tournament.
The pair won their first round 8-2. They then won their quarterfinal match 8-4 and their semifinal 8-2. Then they won big 8-1 in the championship match.
