    Somerville’s Brandyn Carter has had quite a basketball season his senior year.

    He scored his 1,000th career point as a Yegua back in Februrary, and then was named the Co-Offensive MVP for District 26-2A.

    Now, Carter has been selected to play in the Devine Sports/Mentor Texas Academics All-Star Game (TAAG) on April 1 at the Rec Center at Prairie View University He will represent the South Team.
