Lady Hornets win team title in first meet of the season

THE CALDWELL LADY HORNET cross country team won the team title at last Saturday’s Caldwell Cross Country Invitational. The team which ran on Saturday included Isabel Alcocer, Fallyn Anderson, Cadie Coston, Maddy Faust and Hannah Muzny.
All three Burleson County cross county teams opened their 2023 season last Saturday morning at Davidson Creek Park in Caldwell for the annual Caldwell Cross Country Invitational.
And, after the meet, the Lady Hornet cross country team has one team title under its belt.
Caldwell’s gold-winning score was 46 points, with Mumford coming in second place with 53 points and Burton third also with 53 points…
