The Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) issued no new oil well drilling permits in Burleson County in January.
The RRC report is for newly approved permits in the county, not for drill sites which were previously permitted.
Production in the county in December included 711,350 barrels of oil, 686,797 Mcf of casing head gas, 49,496 Mcf of gas well gas and 3,422 barrels of condensate.
