Area firefighters respond to CR 264 for burning lumber

Snook and Caldwell firefighters responded to a controlled burn of a lumber pile from a torn down house on Wednesday afternoon, March 6, off County Road 264.
The fire was mostly burned down by the time firefighters arrived, but they remained on scene to wash down a nearby house for exposure protection and to ensure that the rest of the blaze was under control, said Snook Fire Chief Jon Collins.
