The Lady Jays flew into Somerville last Tuesday with one goal: to win Round 1 of the Burleson County Showdown. And, the Lady Jays took no time in taking control of the game in the first inning, scoring their first three runs on the way to an 18-1 win.
With Marissa Batiste and Braynija Pool on base with no outs, Aubrey Becker doubled to center field, scoring both runners for a 2-0 lead.
