Snook’s Alexis Macik earned gold in the girls varsity shot put and in the girls varsity discus at last week’s District 26-2A Track & Field Meet in Snook.
Both Snook and Somerville competed at the district meet.
In the shot put, Macik threw for a distance of 37 feet 5.5 inches.
Her teammate Miracle Hill won the silver for the Lady Jays with a toss of 33 feet 10.75 inches.
