Local students make Dean’s List at Sam Houston State

VFW POST 4458 WAS gifted with a 7-passenger van by Joe Martinez of Caldwell. Martinez conveyed ownership of a 2000 Dodge custom van. The van will be used for veteran transportation and Honor Guard transportation to and from funerals.
JACK WOMACK, WORSHIPFUL MASTER at Lee Scott Masonic Lodge in Somerville, and Jim Braml, Junior Warden; Charlie Law, Secretary; and Steve McCoy, Senior Deacon and District Deputy Grand Master at large, visited Warren Lodge in Caldwell and brought home the traveling gavel for District 44.

Several local students were named to the Dean’s List of Academic Honors for Spring 2024 semester at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville.
To achieve the Dean’s List, students must be undergraduates achieveing a grade point average of at least 3.5 out of a perfect 4.0 in all work attempted while enrolled in not less than 12 semester hours.
