THE BURLESON COUNTY TRIBUNE won first place in Sports Coverage and Sports Photography in the Texas Press Association’s 2023 Texas Better Newspaper Contest. The newspaper also placed second in General Excellence, third in Feature Photography and fourth in Page Design. The awards ceremony was last Saturday morning in College Station.

The Burleson County Tribune fared well in the 2023 Texas Better Newspaper Contest, sweeping all sports categories and placing second in General Excellence and third in the running for the sweepstakes award.
The Tribune competed in Division 6 for weekly newspapers.
