The Somerville City Council has hired David Resendiz as its new city administrator, replacing Danny Segundo who is retiring.
The council unanimously approved Resendiz’s hiring at a Tuesday, Aug. 20, called meeting, and he will begin on Sept. 2 and take over on Oct. 1.
