A Lee County man was sentenced to 50 years in prison on Wednesday, Sept. 11, in a felony assault on a public servant charge in connection with a July 31, 2023, incident involving an assault on a Burleson County Sheriff’s Office jailer.
Johnny Ondrea Kelly, 45, was sentenced by District Judge Reva Towslee Corbett following a jury trial with testimony on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
